Starting Where It Matters Most

Correctional Institutions in Mexico

This initiative is built on the belief that every person deserves the opportunity to rebuild their life with purpose and dignity. Through structured barber training and mentorship, participants gain more than technical skills. They develop discipline, accountability, and confidence that extend far beyond the barber chair. By focusing on rehabilitation, vocational skill-building, and personal development, the program creates a pathway for individuals to rediscover their value, restore their sense of identity, and prepare for a future defined by responsibility, opportunity, and hope.

A Movement Built Through Faith, Skill, and Mentorship

The Chair of Change Barber Training Manual

Each participant in the Mexico correctional program will receive The Chair of Change Barber Manual, as part of their rehabilitation process. The Chair of Change Barber Manual provides practical, informal instruction for individuals who want to begin learning barbering skills before obtaining their professional license. It serves as the barbering skills companion to The Chair of Change Journal, which focuses on life development and personal growth. Together, these resources reinforce personal accountability, reflection, character development, professional standards, and spiritual growth. Faith in Fades does more than train barbers; it helps develop disciplined, confident men prepared to lead in their communities.

Aaron Smith: Founder & Executive Director

Faith in Fades was founded by Aaron Smith, a professional barber, mentor, and nonprofit leader who built this initiative from the barber chair up.

Aaron has personally witnessed how barbering creates far more than a profession. It generates income, builds confidence, shapes identity, develops leadership, and sparks generational change within families and communities.

Under Aaron’s leadership, Faith in Fades has developed a structured barber mentorship curriculum and created The Chair of Change transformational journal to guide participants through personal and professional growth. The initiative has also built strong partnerships with churches and community organizations while establishing workforce pathways that integrate faith, discipline, and entrepreneurship for men seeking second chances.

The expansion into Mexico reflects Aaron’s commitment to scaling impact beyond borders while maintaining program excellence and structure. Thanks to the support of corporate sponsors and the community at large, Revive Together, Inc., has also been able to extend meaningful support to families and individuals in need, strengthening communities through mentorship, workforce training, and faith-driven outreach.

What Border Philanthropy Means in Practice

For Faith in Fades, Border Philanthropy is not symbolic charity. It is structured collaboration across nations. It means building prosperity across the border region through shared responsibility.

The growing success of the Faith in Fades initiative and The Chair of Change journal have placed Aaron Smith and Revive Together in high demand among organizations seeking meaningful rehabilitation and workforce development solutions. Communities, churches, and institutions have recognized the power of combining barber training with mentorship, discipline, and faith-centered personal development. As the program’s impact has expanded, Aaron has been intentional about where the next chapter of Faith in Fades should begin beyond California. Rather than expanding quickly without structure, Aaron believed the next move had to serve a region that needed the program most. Through prayer and discernment, he felt called to extend the initiative into Mexico.
